SPECIAL NOTE:

  • This panel is specifically designed for model solar boat / vehicle challenges and should be handled with extreme care. The panels are not intended for extended permanent outdoor use or for commercial purposes.
  • Teams competing in either the solar boat or solar vehicle competitions should provide a suitable cover which will completely shade the active area of theie panel. In this way undue heating of the panel and decreased efficiency will be avoided whilst the panel is not being used for active racing.

General Purpose Photovoltaic Solar Panel

The solar panel TS0629 is an encapsulated silicon photovoltaic panel and may be configured for use in parallel or series it comes supplied with two sets of integral lead lead points.

A maximum  total active cell area of 394 cm (Active area, means the area covered bythe photovoltaic cells only, and does not including encapsulation around the edges and between cells.

Supplied with alligator leads for ease of use.
