Solar boat component kit. (TS0402)
This basic starter kit includes the following parts.
Solar panel:
Monocrystalline 0.50 Watts. Four of the new lightweight panels are provided in this kit.
Solar motor :
Voltage 1.5–6 V DC; speed (no load) 1800 rpm @ 3 V;
current (no load) 0.222 A; size 32 mm dia x 33 mm long; shaft size 2.00 mm dia x 10.7 mm long.
All motors supplied with push on 80mm terminal leads (red and black).
Propeller shaft.
This is a combination of 'Turbo Red' small 2-blade 30 mm diameter propeller on a carbon fibre pultruded shaft 280 mm x 2 mm diameter and contained within a polypropylene bearing tube.
Flexible universal joint.
Each Propeller set is supplied with a 'Silicone Red', flexible universal joint for ease of connection to motors with 1.5 - 3.00 mm drive shafts
