Knife: Safety trimming knife with pin protection. (TS2048)
This is a 'Stanley' style trimming knife with pin protection to the blade. The blade is only able to 'cut' when the pin retracts. As part of the action of cutting, as the blade enters the material and simultaneously the pin retracts. On completing cutting the blade extends to protect the blade and user.
This is a new design (First available March 2004) of trimming knife specifically for use in sheltered workshops and schools.
Maximum protection is afforded to the user
