Solar vehicle starter kit (TS0399) Solar car kit. Consists of teacher instructions, chassis, single solar panel, solar electric motor, wheels, gears axles and all fastenings. (May be fully constructed with fastenings or made more permanent using low melt adhesive.) The kit includes sufficient materials to provide students with design opportunities in constructing a simple vehicle powered by a small motor connected to a solar cell. Note that this vehicle can be constructed with the minimal specialist tools, though it is best constructed with the aid of a low melt glue gun. Solar boat component kit. (TS0402) The basic solar boat kit, includes four solar cells, solar motor and propeller shaft (inner and outer) with universal joint. Note that outer shaft is self lubricating polypropylene. Solar boat hull foam (TS0403) each Blanks of closed cell Blue foam suitable for making lightweight boat hulls. Blanks measure 600mm long by 77mm wide and 30mm thick. The kit can be used to teach children how a circuit may be constructed and how solar energy may then be used to power a motor which in turn pumps water. A miniature low voltage fluid pump ( non submersible) Able to pump or reticulate water using solar cells as a power source. Measures 45 x 35 x 15 mm
