A model solar vehicle starter kit. Created for classroom construction and assembly where only simple tools and equipment are required. Kit supplied with all parts and includes a teacher's guide to construction. Demonstrates the principles involved in a simple electrical circuit as well as the utilisation of clean green solar power. Solar boat component kit. (TS0402) The basic solar boat kit, includes four solar cells, solar motor and propeller shaft (inner and outer) with universal joint. Note that outer shaft is self lubricating polypropylene. This combination is as specified for the Wire Guided Division of the Australian International SOLAR BOAT CHALLENGE. Solar boat hull foam (TS0403) each Blanks of closed cell Blue foam suitable for making lightweight boat hulls. Blanks measure 600mm long by 77mm wide and 30mm thick. The kit can be used to teach children how a circuit may be constructed and how solar energy may then be used to power a motor which in turn pumps water.
